| Sebastian Vettel rides a KTM ATV at his home F1 event |
| When Red Bull Formula One driver Sebastien Vettel went home of Heppenheim (Germany) to give his thousands of dedicated fans a pre-taste of the action they can see in the German GP next weekend, it was clear that he wasn’t going to be able to go everywhere in the Red Bull Racing show car. |
|
That’s why KTM stepped in and provided four ATVs for Sebastien and friends to enjoy on this special occasion. The agile and sporty ATVs were perfect for Seb, who was accompanied by DTM champion Mattias Ekstroem – there with his Audi DTM; Chris Pfeiffer, multiple winner of the Red Bull Hare Scramble who came with his spectacular street bike stunt show and Smudo, of the German hip-hop band Die Fantastischen Vier (Fantastic Four) who showed off his Bio Concept Car.
The guys enjoyed a bit of fun on the light and lively KTM ATVs then Seb took to the special one kilometer track, lined with Vettel banners, to greet his fans and sign autographs. Organizers estimated that 120,000 fans turned out to see their F1 racing hero.
"It was just awesome," said Sebastian. "I want to thank all the fans for this truly unique and amazing day. I always dreamed about a day like this and they were the ones who made this dream come true."
